Since Jim and I do Bitmap World together, we have our home network setup so that we can both share the graphics folder, allowing us to both work on the strip. I was poking around over at the forums on The Webcomic List, and there was a thread asking just that.  I have to laugh, because I know that most of the people posting over there are kids (and I use that term relatively, since I know that 20-something is an adult, but when your nearing 40, 20 is a kid to you).  A lot of the posters there are just starting out, and asking a question like this is

Yesterday, I spent a good chunk of the day doing a guest strip for Bug Report. I had done several of the smilies themselves earlier, but when it came to doing the strip itself, I wanted to really mirror the look and feel of the actual strip. We try to look over our referrer logs every day or so, to get a gauge as to how many readers we have. Honestly, it wouldn't matter if we had 10 readers or 10,000, the quality of the strip would remain the same. But, it's a morale booster to see your comic steadily growing in readership. We've posted this all over Bitmap World, but have tried to be more discreet about it.  The comic was reviewed by Mumbai Mirror, a small-ish newspaper out of India.  It's kinda neat that we will, hopefully, have a big fanbase in India.  After a lot of thought about the subject, I realized what one of the reasons may be.  Harry Pixel works at a help desk.  Of course, India is well known for now

When Jim and I first started Bitmap World, we dreamed that someday it would be successful.  What do you define as success?  For us, it was having a bunch of people--and I mean like a couple hundred--like our strip enough to read it regularly.  In the 5 months we've been up, we're averaging about 800 a month, which is just staggering.  Anyhow, I think a lot of people would question if my art is
