Bug Report

Yesterday, I spent a good chunk of the day doing a guest strip for Bug Report. I had done several of the smilies themselves earlier, but when it came to doing the strip itself, I wanted to really mirror the look and feel of the actual strip. So, it was a lot of work to make it look like Harry was walking into a smiley version of Haywire, Inc.  I am really proud of the way it turned out, visually and story-wise.  I take a lot of pride in my pixel art.  It was a good feeling to recreate Mike Mann's characters in a 30x30 area (Impson was a tad wider, but that couldn't be helped).

Someone on our forums joked about us doing a guest strip for Terror Island.  Of course, both of our brains started whirling.  I guess it helps that we already did icons of the 2 main characters.  I should have done the Green Grocer too.  Jim actually took that character and put it into an RPG campaign he was running.  Totally personal, so no copyright infringement there.  ;O)

Had 2 hours sleep last night.  Am way strung out.  But have too much to do tonight to rest!  Boy, my life would be just so much better if I didn't need sleep.
